AMTA: AMTA MEMBERS CAN BE LISTED ON A NEW
RESOURCE FOR AUTISM:
I am the parent of a child with Asperger Syndrome
and am working with a few others in compiling
a list of resources for providers and families
of
those on the autism spectrum. Once all
the data is collected, we will be posting it all
online
as a free resource. We would like to add
music therapists to that list as we feel that it
is an
area that many parents are unaware of and
have yet to utilize. Therefore, we are looking
for any
music therapists that work with this population
who would like to be added as a resource.
There is no fee for this; it is completely free.
If you
work with those on the autism spectrum
and would like to be listed as a resource, please
contact
Rachel Wheeler at 3wheeler@tampabay.rr.com or (727)
244-1410. When contacting us,
please let us know
your contact info and the area that you
service, so we can list that information on the
site. We
look forward to hearing from you.
