I am pleased to announce the Appalachian State University trainings in the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music for 2010. Guided Imagery and Music (GIM) is a music-centered depth approach to therapy that uses selected sequences of classical music to support the generation of and movement through inner experiences.
The Appalachian training program now offers all three levels of training leading to preparation for professional practice and eligibility for the designation Fellow of the Association for Music and Imagery, or FAMI.

The Level I Intensive will be held at beautiful
Wildacres Retreat in Little Switzerland, NC May 17-22, 2010. Level I is an introduction to the Bonny Method of GIM and is open to mental health professionals and advanced students in these disciplines. Additional information is provided in the Level I flyer. Click here for the Registration Form.

The Level II Intensive also will be held at
Wildacres Retreat in Little Switzerland, NC from June 12-18, 2010.  Level II is the entrance into professional training for the practice of the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music. Pre-requisites and post-intensive follow-up requirements are noted in the Level II flyer. Click here for the application for Level II training.

It is anticipated that a new Level III (Advanced) training will be formed in the next year. Prospective advanced trainees will find additional information and the application for advanced training at
